We are licensed as a Family Daycare by the State of Michigan, in addition to being registered with the IRS. Parents are supplied with monthly receipts with the providers EIN number for easy tax reporting.
We are partnered with the Mid-Michigan Childcare Food Program. We serve breakfast, lunch, and two snacks based on attendance. Dinner is provided to children enrolled in wrap around care.
We have participated in the Great Start to Quality process to reach Enhancing Quality! At this time, we are not extending our participation in the program.
We are a Woman & Family Owned Business. Ms. Kaitlyn started Just Like Home Family Daycare in May of 2023, when her son was just 6 weeks old. The infamous playroom is a renovated dinning room in Ms. Kaitlyn’s home.

We strive to be active members of our community through local non profit organizations like The London Strong Foundation. A native Grand Blanc Foundation that works to bring awareness to the importance of proper CPR Training, as well as bringing life saving AEDs to the community.

We are open and providing care all year long. We currently only accept Full Time Enrollment. Full time families receive 8 Free Days of childcare per year.
We choose to avoid serving food that are labeled with the following synthetic dyes. In addition to this, we are willing to accommodate allergies and vegetarian diets.
We are a Stainless Steel & Glass Only Daycare! Children are provided with their own color banded stainless steel cups, in addition to stainless steel cutlery and plates. Food is cooked the same day or warmed using glass containers. We avoid microwaving food as much as possible.
We have scheduled daily outdoor time. Children go outside, weather permitting, twice a day for a minimum of 15 minutes. Our Playground includes Little Tikes Slides, a Sand Box, Picnic Tables, Kid Kraft Playhouse, Little Tike Kitchen, Cozy Coupe Cars, Pedal Trikes, and more!
Scheduled Rest time from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Pillow, Blanket, and Latex Free napping mat are provided.

We provide monthly on-site specials for the children! Some specials that we have had include a visit from Genesee County Mr. & Mrs Clause, Music Therapy with The Flint Institute of Music, & Story Time with a Disney Princess.

Each parent it provided access to the Brightwheel App. The Brightwheel app allows parents to contact the provider directly. In addition, the platform allows the provider to share the child’s daily activities, reminders, and tuition statements.
